Who We Are

Introduction

Families may contact us seeking assistance or may be referred by a community provider. In either case, the initial contact sets the tone for the beginning of a partnership between the family and Solutions CEDARR. With the initial contact, staff recognizes and affirms diverse family values, customs, and beliefs. Our staff consist of men and women with various education disciplines, culture and ethnic heritages. We offer a diverse pool of languages: English, Spanish, Creole, Portuguese, Cambodian, Khmer, sign language, and some French. We also have TTY capability, so the hearing impaired can contact the office directly.

"Intake" telephone calls are transferred to the Program Coordinator who will record basic information from the caller. If the information provided indicates an emergent concern, staff are assigned immediately and services are offered on the same day.

From the onset, honesty, clear communication, and listening are vital to the development of a collaborative relationship with the parent in which information and resources are shared to create the greatest possible benefit for the child and family.
